Privacy Policy

Overview

Your Daily Review is built to keep your practice private. Your reviews, reflections, and exercise entries stay on the device where you write them. No account is required, no cloud sync is enabled, and we do not analyze what you write.

Data Storage

Your entries are stored locally: JSON files in the app's Documents directory on iOS. Drafts and lightweight preferences use UserDefaults. Data stays on the device it was entered on.

Backups

On iOS, your device backup (iCloud or iTunes/Finder) may include your Your Daily Review data as part of a standard system backup. This is controlled by your device settings, not by the app.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your reviews, reflections, or exercise text.
• We do not require or create an account.
• We do not run analytics on your journal content.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not track you across sites.

In-App Purchases

Your Daily Review Pro is a one-time $4.99 non-consumable unlock. No subscription, no auto-renewal. Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple ID. We do not see your payment details; those are handled by Apple.

On-Device Search

The app may index safe review metadata on-device using Apple Core Spotlight so you can search from the iOS home screen. It does not index your journal body, private question answer, or private next action. This indexing is local and can be disabled in iOS Settings.

Notifications

Morning, noon, and night reminders are scheduled locally on your device using the system's notification scheduler. They do not travel through our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use Apple's StoreKit to process the Pro unlock. We do not use third-party analytics, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Your Daily Review is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, reach out and we will help remove any affected data.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because your journal content stays on your device, we do not act as a data controller for it. You control your data directly: export it via Settings or delete the app to remove it. If you have a specific access/deletion request about any information we do hold, such as a support email, contact us below.

Data Retention

We retain nothing about your journal entries. Your data persists on your device until you delete it or delete the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and note what changed. For significant changes, we will surface an in-app note.
